Canada’s Boating Hall of Fame Award

Canada’s Boating Hall of Fame Award is presented by NMMA Canada, The Toronto International Boat Show and the Vancouver International Boat Show in recognition of extraordinary achievements in the recreational boating industry.  The award recognizes individuals who over the years, have proven to be outstanding in making lasting contributions to the betterment of the Canadian Marine Industry..

Eligibility & Rules

Nominations are welcome until November 15th.

  1. The award need not be presented each year.
  2. The award may be presented to more than one recipient.
  3. Candidates must be or have been directly involved in or associated with the recreational boating industry in Canada.
  4. The award may be presented during the lifetime of an individual or posthumously.
  5. The award(s) will be presented at the annual Vancouver International Boat Show.

General Information

The Hall of Fame Committee is composed of members from within the industry, at the request of NMMA Canada.

NMMA Canada shall solicit nominees each year for review annually in December.

Any nominee not receiving the award will be carried on the active list for three years without need for further nomination during that time.

Approved nominees will be notified by NMMA Canada and invited to attend the Vancouver International Boat Show, where the award shall be presented if approved.
